Fire Safety Technologies Ltd. (FST) was established in 1992 to develop, manufacture and sell proprietary, patented fire safety products. FST is a Canadian Controlled Private Corporation (CCPC) with its' head office in Greater Toronto Area.

The company has developed, tested, certified and patented The Retrofit Fire Door Kit and The Impact and Edge Protector, which are currently being sold in Canada and the US. The Company's major product, The Retrofit Fire Door Kit, upgrades any existing non-rated door to a code compliant fire rated door in commercial, institutional and multi-unit residential buildings such as nursing homes, apartment buildings, hotels, dormitories, offices and retail environments.

With increasingly stringent Fire and Building Code requirements and, importantly, more rigorous compliance enforcement, there is a large-scale requirement for building owners to upgrade existing doors to meet the current Code requirements.
